Woah, today sure was a doozy, but there was a bright spot on the radar tonight. Apparently, turkey and cheese on wheat (one of my favorite sandwiches, I must say) was a very specific and correct guess on Dawn's Gross Food Find Contest. I read her blog, Because I Said So!, on a regular basis. (As in, I check it multiple times a day just to see if there's something new there to make me crack up.) She absolutely slays me with her accounts of family life, and I do appreciate her knack for finding the humor in the everyday minutiae of our lives. I'm quite happy to hear that my ability to correctly identify food, even in a disgusting stage of rot, has netted me a new set of Tupperware. See? I always knew my food obsession would pay off someday.
Okay, the baby has decided to stage a coup against the concept of sleep, so I'm heading up there to once again nurse him to sleep. Mama pig, anyone? We fell into what I'm calling 'The Pacifier Trap,' and we're trying to claw our way out. More about that later, I'm predicting.
