summing it all up in 6 words

I've never participated in one of these 'meme' things. (I'm not even sure how to pronounce the word 'meme'- is it meemee, is it mem with a silent e at the end? That's what my kids call my mom!) An online friend, Melissa, from my online book club (my life is being lived online more and more...) put this out there to us book clubbers- The 6 Word Memoir. Here are the guidelines:

1. Write your own six word memoir.
2. Post it on your blog and include a visual illustration if you’d like.
3. Link to the person that tagged you in your post and to this original post if possible so we can track it as it travels across the blogosphere.
4. Tag five more blogs with links.
5. Remember to leave a comment on the tagged blogs with an invitation to play!

I've been thinking and thinking and thinking, and I absolutely LOVE words, so I felt that I had to get this just right. I'm not sure that this ranks as stupendous, but it seems to wrap it all up neatly:

honorable intentions, heartfelt efforts, mixed results
I like it. Although it sounds a bit melancholy, that wasn't really the feeling I was trying to convey. Simply put, this is an honest depiction of life at the end of my day.
Since I'm a newbie to this whole mimi thing... (meme, sorry, I can't help but think of Mimi from the Drew Carey Show!)... I'm not sure about the whole tagging thing. Do people like to be tagged? Will I offend if I tag someone I don't really 'know' but just read online? Some people I know-in-real-life have already been tagged from the book club, so I'm not sure I can make the requisite five people. I'll try these guys, and I'll trust that they'll let me know if they don't like this kind of solicitation! So, Pam, Amanda, JujuBoo (not sure if you use your real name on your blog), and Tismee2, you are my first official taggees. Hope you like it! (And if not, sorry, man! I'm new to this thing...)

That's a cute one! I'll have to give it some thought. I really like yours, though!

Hugs!

It doesn't come across as melancholy. More like honest. I like it.

Did you know there's a book out there about the six-word memoir? It's really cool, but I can't remember the title. I LOVE your six-word memoir...

ALSO, love your five/six word opposite of love idea--I do hope you submitted it to win the book, which is a fab book by the way...

and another thing, which I may have mentioned when I visited your blog a long while ago--I LOVE your picture here--you just look like you're loving every minute of crazy motherhood! : )

So first of all I love the words you came up with! Secondly, I personally LOVE LOVE LOVE the whole mem thing (I pronounce it meemee BTW) so I am always up for one. And third, you can call me Lisa. Give me a few days to come up with my 6 word memior and ill let you know when its up. Thanks for tagging me ;)
