I would be completely remiss if I did not mention in this forum that lovely husband is a total NY Giants fan. He grew up in New York, and his allegiances lie with the Big Guys and the Yankees. Let me tell you, he takes a whole lotta garbage from people- he's the guy among our groups of friends that just seems to get teased a lot, but to his credit, he doesn't badmouth the teams-of-others. So, as we watched the first half of the Super Bowl yesterday with a group of dear friends, who just happen to be of Patriots' blood, he took his share of taunts.Thank goodness we have all those darn kids to put to bed each night, as that was our reason to leave during halftime, and I am very grateful that lovely hubby was watching the end of the game at home because, man oh man, was there ever 'eccessive celebrating' going on. I thought he was going to literally jump out of his skin as the Big Guys got closer and closer to actual victory. He leapt into the air and ran back and forth in our tiny living room. He channelled our dear 7-year-old's energy level on any given day. It was intense.
Today lovely hubby has reason to smile. He'll smile will only get bigger once his new championship hat, T-shirt and sweatshirt arrive in the mail!
