But, we get to see my parents, which is always fun, and I get to assuage some of my bad-daughter-guilt by logging another visit for the kids with their loving grandparents. And to top it all off, lovely hubby and I are headed to a wedding Sunday evening, even scoring a hotel room for that night. We get to sleep in a building where there are no children present who we are responsible for! Yippee! I'm really excited about the wedding as well, which will unite two lovely people who we knew back when they were just young college kids, and they worked as student aides in my classroom, and even babysat a toddler JAM back in the day. Now they're all grown up and getting hitched, and we're going to be the old folks at the reception that no one knows, probably seated at the misfits table, hopefully not embarrassing ourselves too much. But seriously, since we'll only know the bride and groom, who will be so busy they won't notice us too much, I think we're pretty safe.
So, nothing earth-shattering, nothing informative, nothing thought-provoking. Just wanted to make an actual appearance this week that didn't revolve around my BNL adoration. And apparently I've also been reminded that I have 58 more posts until I gotta pull something really darn cool out of somewhere!
On the road again in 8 hours,
