8, 9, 10

Well, I guess it should be almost 8, 9, and almost 10, if I wanted to be all technical about it. JAM has some friends sleeping over tonight, and the three of them are camped out on a blow-up mattress on the living room floor right now, watching their second movie of the evening. Oh yes. We fed the children pizza, brownies and ice cream, and now 3/5 of them get to stay up late watching animated movies and laughing like ridiculously silly hyenas. Either we're the worst parents/caregivers in history, or we've thrown all rules out the window for one single Saturday, and that is just okay. I'm going for the latter option. Hopefully our friends will still talk to us when their children are returned to them.

Wishing for sleep tonight against all odds,

  1. Oh, come on. That's what sleepovers are all about!

I see him in the background, which reminds me - how's the hubby's knee doing?

  5. Awww, how fun! I can't wait for sleepovers to be something the wee ones are interested in. Although once they reach ummm 12? I think we're done with sleepovers forever.

  6. We had a sleepover Saturday as well. I tried to get the kids interested in a movie, but they wanted WebKinz. No blog reading for me!
