I think I mentioned it briefly a little while ago, but I am proudly sporting a
DC Metro Moms badge over there in my sidebar, as I am a recently added contributor! Woo-
hoo, another place to blog away! The
DC Metro Moms blog is a member of the
Silicon Valley Moms Group, and I really couldn't be more pleased to be among such an interesting group of writers. At least so far, the commitment to contribute a few posts each month seems fairly easy for a motormouth
(motorblogger?) like me.
My first post ran two weeks ago, about
my relationship with the Metrobus system here, and my second contribution is featured on the site today, about the
ridiculous Halloween costume pressure that I feel each year.
If you're so inclined, please feel free to click over. Every day there's a new post, and I'm always finding myself giggling or nodding along with the pieces that are published-- consistently good stuff going on there.
Always on the lookout for blog fodder,
Cute Halloween article. I know the feeling. I am lame and lazy and buy costumes, but I wish I was more creative and MADE them. Then I think about my mom who would dutifully cut two holes for eyes out of a bed sheet almost every year for me "Here, you're a ghost" (again). Ah the memories...
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the article as well. It also seems like interest in Halloween in general is fading. I guess that would take some of the costume pressure off, but it's kind of sad as well.
ReplyDeleteI will definitely click over and read your piece! That's very exciting, friend! Motor away.
