now posting regularly

While I may have been at Carnegie Hall this past weekend, I do wish I had been able to head up a few days earlier to have attended the recording of my very favorite NPR weekly show-- Wait, Wait... Don't Tell Me! Oh yes, Peter Sagal, Carl Kasell and the crew graced the Carnegie Hall stage with their trademark mix of news and a very healthy dose of humor last week. I feel way prouder than I should when I shout out a correct answer at the radio, proving my NPR geekiness, just in case there was any doubt.

Wanna hear the whole show from their NYC appearance? C'mon, it's got Paula Poundstone, Mo Rocca and Adam Felber-- three of my favorite of their regular panelists!! You know you want to keep this on in the background while you wile away an hour doing other online activities. The stinky thing is that the site doesn't provide the code to embed the entire show in one recording, and I'm too lazy to upload the six separate sections. So, you'll just have to click over to their site and pull up the player on there. Trust me, it's good times.

Of the opinion that laughing at the news is better than any other reaction,

  1. Oh, Man! We LOVE "Wait, Wait... Don't Tell Me!" So much fun - every single time!!

I have to figure out how to get these things on my Ipod for the gym. I truly am a Luddite.

  2. I podcast the show and listen while I'm doing my housework. It's great because it's funny, I don't have to concentrate too hard, and just like when I used to watch SNL Weekend Update -- I get much of my real awareness of current events from the FAKE news.
