gotta love giveaways

Back to our regularly scheduled programming sometime soon. You all are dying to know about the random thoughts I've had over the last week while we traveled north to see the folks, right? Oh, such brilliant ruminations about how to handle screaming children trapped with you in a minivan, how lovely it is to escape get away for a bit to attend a wedding sans children with your lovely hubby, and how freakishly cold the water in a shaded pool can be when the temps don't rise as they should in August. Ah yes, the wait will be intolerable until I write again...

    Thanks for the plug, but YES I have been wondering all those things (except the freakishly cold pools in this part of the country-- I get that part).

    Although, was it not hot were you were? Here in my neck of the woods, it's been hot (for here, but really by any standard -- almost 90 with humidity). Yesterday was slightly better, but still muggy.

    Today seems cloudy and cool.
